Training typically takes between 3 and 6 months but one size doesn’t fit all! We’ll work at a pace that suits you and if you need to revisit any aspect of your training, that’s fine. Our team of volunteer instructors have years of experience and will tailor your tuition to ensure you are comfortable and safe in the water.
Diver training involves three components: theory, practice and application. Typically these will take the form of theory lessons on a Friday evening at the club with a multi choice examination at the end. Practical dive skills and training lessons are undertaken in the pool (after your theory lesson) and then you’ll progress to open water dives once you’ve honed your skills.
