SUB AQUA CLUB

Diving Trips

Brentwood Selo Sub-Aqua Club organise a range of diving trips from just one or two day events to week long trips or even longer, if travelling abroad. Most of our training dives are one-day events, however we will run 2-day training events when there is a demand for them. These can be held at an inland training site or on the coast. Wherever they are held, our aim is to provide the members with an enjoyable learning experience with lots of fun thrown in!

Sea diving, usually as part of a two-day event, enables us to charter a large dive boat that will safely handle larger groups of divers. These craft are well equipped with a spacious deck area; most modern dive boats are fitted with lifts so that you don’t have to climb a ladder back onto the boat after a dive.

We are very fortunate to also have our own 5.6-metre Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) that will carry 6 fully kitted divers and is equipped with all modern navigation and safety aids. The RIB is used for both one and two day diving events, it is also used as a teaching aid for those wishing to learn boat handling skills and is used between dives for having fun on our inflatable Banana or for skiing!

Our week or longer trips have taken us to The Orkney Islands in Scotland, or to warmer climates such as Lanzarote, the Egyptian Red Sea and even as far a field as Bikini Atoll in the Pacific Ocean.

Qualified instructors check all of the organization of our trips before being approved, this ensures that they are well and safely organized so that the fun of going diving is maximised for everyone.
