SUB AQUA CLUB
Size of the Club
Our club
currently has in the region of eighty full diving members and twenty
social members, most of whom are divers' families. The ages range
from six up to seventy with the youngest members having the
opportunity to use our facilities and join the snorkelling club.
Younger members can participate in diving from the age of twelve and
we currently have a number of teenage members following in their
parents footsteps by pursuing their Ocean Diver or Sports Diver
qualification. Our divers are from all walks of life and there is an
immense diversity of interests, occupations and backgrounds amongst
us. Activities within the club can be participated in fully or as
little as personally desired with a number of social gatherings
being organised every year including quiz nights, race nights and
ten pin bowling to name but a few.
